God is majestic, strong, powerful, and great
Psa 77:13,14 Your way, O God, is holy; What god is great like our God? 14 You
are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your strength among the
peoples.
Psa 93:1 The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The LORD has clothed
and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it
will not be moved.
Psa 96:4-6 For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be
feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD
made the heavens. 6 Splendor and majesty are before Him, Strength and beauty are
in His sanctuary.
Psa 97:9 For You are the LORD Most High over all the earth; You are exalted
far above all gods.
Isa 40:15 Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, And are regarded
as a speck of dust on the scales; Behold, He lifts up the islands like fine
dust.
Psa 145:3 Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is
unsearchable.

God does what is impossible for people to
do
Num 11:23 The LORD said to Moses, "Is the LORD'S power limited? Now
you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not."
Jer 32:27 "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything
too difficult for Me?"
Mark 10:27 Looking at them, Jesus said, "With
people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with
God."
God is eternal
Psa 93:2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.
Psa 102:27 "But You are the same, And Your years will not come to an
end.
Psa 145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures
throughout all generations.
Psa 146:10 The LORD will reign forever, Your God, O Zion, to all generations.
Praise the LORD!
Heb 1:8 But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND
EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM.

God does not change

for He is not a man that He should change His mind."

God disciplines those who seek Him, as loving parents would their child
Prov 3:11,12 My son, do not reject the discipline of the LORD Or loathe His
reproof, 12 For whom the LORD loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the
son in whom he delights.
2 Sam 7:14,15 "I will be a father to him and he will be a son to Me;
when he commits iniquity, I will correct him with the rod of men and the
strokes of the sons of men, 15 but My lovingkindness shall not depart from him
Psa 89:31-33 If they violate My statutes And do not keep My commandments,
32 Then I will punish their transgression with the rod And their iniquity with
stripes. 33 "But I will not break off My lovingkindness from him, Nor
deal falsely in My faithfulness.
Deu 8:3-5 "He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with
manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make
you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by
everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD. 4 "Your clothing
did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. 5
"Thus you are to know in your heart that the LORD your God was
disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.

God is perfectly righteous, holy, faithful, and just; yet full of compassion,
kindness, mercy, grace, and love
Deu 32:4 "The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A
God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.
Psa 71:19 For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who
have done great things; O God, who is like You?
Psa 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;
Lovingkindness and truth go before You.
Psa 145:8,9 The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in
lovingkindness. 9 The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His
works.
Psa 145:17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.
Lam 3:22,23 The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His
compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your
faithfulness.
Psa 103:13 Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has
compassion on those who fear Him.
Isa 30:18 Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He
waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; How
blessed are all those who long for Him.
How can God, who is loving, kind, and compassionate; reject a person, sending
him or her to Hell instead of Heaven? Conversely, how can God, who is perfect,
righteous, holy, and just; allow an imperfect person to enter His kingdom? See What
is the difference between Christianity and other beliefs?

God is infinite in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. He is sovereign
Psa 147:5 Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is
infinite.
Psa 103:19 The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His
sovereignty rules over all.
Prov 21:30 There is no wisdom and no understanding And no counsel against
the LORD.
Psa 94:9-11 He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the
eye, does He not see? 10 He who chastens the nations, will He not rebuke, Even
He who teaches man knowledge? 11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, That they
are a mere breath.
Isa 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the
LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His
understanding is inscrutable.
Isa 55:8,9 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways
My ways," declares the LORD. 9 "For as the heavens are higher than
the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your
thoughts.
Rom 11:33,34 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge
of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! 34 For
WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR?

I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; 11 Calling a bird of prey from the
east, The man of My purpose from a far country. Truly I have spoken; truly I

God strengthens and protects those who place their trust in Him. He is with
them in times of trouble, persecution, or oppression. He never forsakes them.
Psa 9:9,10 The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A
stronghold in times of trouble; 10 And those who know Your name will put their
trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.
Psa 27:1-3 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The
LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? 2 When evildoers came upon
me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise
against me, In spite of this I shall be confident.
Psa 31:19,20 How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those
who fear You, Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You, Before
the sons of men! 20 You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from
the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife
of tongues.
Psa 35:10 All my bones will say, "LORD, who is like You, Who delivers
the afflicted from him who is too strong for him, And the afflicted and the
needy from him who robs him?"

Psa 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are

being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER

their strength in time of trouble. 40 The LORD helps them and delivers them;
He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, Because they take refuge in
Him.
